CHEMICAL, MICROBIOLOGICAL, PHYSICAL ANALYSIS

The chemical, microbiological and physical instrumental analysis laboratory, active in Isola del Liri (Frosinone) since 1980, was among the first in Italy to obtain Accredia accreditation number 0353. Thanks to the network of partnerships consolidated over the years we are able to intervene throughout the whole national territory.

ENVIRONMENTAL DIVISION

We have been operating in the field of applied ecology since 1980, offering companies and public bodies solutions capable of meeting the main environmental quality standards. Through our services we guarantee compliance with environmental regulations and compliance with authorization requirements, such as for example SEA (Sole Environmental Authorization) and IEA (Integrated Environmental Authorization). In the environmental division we analyse, through the chemical and microbiological of laboratory analysis, the main environmental matrices such as water, waste, land, emissions into the atmosphere. In our laboratories, both directly and with the collaboration of partner service laboratories, we are able to satisfy the search for numerous parameters such as: heavy metals (Mercury, Arsenic etc.), Solvents, PAHs, POP’s (Persistent Organic Pollutants), PCBs, Dioxins and Furans, BTEX, Hydrocarbons, IRDP, Calorific Value, asbestos and FAV analysis, ecotoxicological tests.

FOOD DIVISION

We intervene in the sampling and analysis phases of food, carcasses, surfaces and packaging which are in contact with food (MOCA). One of the objectives of the food analysis laboratory is to ensure the application of HACCP standards, a system of self-monitoring of health and hygiene that the operators of the agri-food sector are mandatory to respect. We are experts in drafting the HACCP manual and in food quality and hygiene protocols. The main parameters analyzed in our agri-food laboratory are, for example, heavy metals (Mercury, food arsenic, etc.), pesticides, allergens, Phyto-pharmaceuticals, POPs, bacteria, mold and yeast.

HYGIENE AND SAFETY DIVISION

In the Hygiene and Safety Division we offer all the services necessary to guarantee risk prevention by generating a real organizational and management model of Hygiene and Safety in the workplace, also making use of specialized professionals and certified instruments. We propose the drafting of the DVR – Risk Assessment Document, which allows the implementation of prevention measures in order to identify an adequate risk analysis and a constant environmental monitoring activity in the workplace.

We carry out inspections in work environments aimed at identifying compliance with current regulations regarding work environments, equipment, production processes, the presence of dangerous substances, emergency management. Through the Healthcare Division, we offer support in the correct implementation of clinical risk prevention and management plans through the drafting and validation of the related monitoring strategies. We focus attention on the critical points that can persist in hospital facilities by following the main sector protocols.

TECHNICALAREA

We have organised teams of operators capable of performing both environmental sanitation and the sanitation and hygiene of the water and aeraulic circuits, as well as ordinary and extraordinary plant maintenance. These operations are aimed at thoroughly eliminating any contaminant that cannot be removed with ordinary cleaning. The goal of environmental sanitation is to restore the microbial and viral load, such as the temperature, the ventilation, the degree of relative humidity and the presence of micro-dusts within the hygiene standards identified by the current hygiene and health regulations.

Environmental sanitation, the sanitation and the hygiene of air ducts and water circuits, should be conceived as an ordinary activity not only to comply with the regulations that are in force, but as well as for a better protection of the health of workers and to guarantee high quality standards of the indoor environment. OSI Service operates in compliance with AIISA – NADCA guidelines and standards. This means maintaining the constant carrying out of regulatory and technical updates.
